Open Question: hofstra grad school admissions?

Hello, so I finished undergraduate school with a 2.81 GPA. I major in television production and worked with the campus news station as a writer and production assistant for a year and half. Also I interned with a news station for a year and I have been working for a television station for about a year now dealing with the website. I just wanted to know will my low GPA definitely hurt my chances of getting into Hofstra Journalism School and cause me to automatically be rejected or is there still a chance that I can get in since I do have a little experience in media....
